    1. Hey Umesh,

There are many little things which are hidden in the WordPress. We don’t think more than writing the blog posts and handling the comments. In the WordPress platform, you would find many hidden secrets.

      Thanks for being here.

      Enjoy the day.

  1. I used to publish a newsletter on my website for subscribers. I used a plugin to make the page hidden so that there weren’t any obvious paths to the page from the rest of the website. Then I would email the link to my subscribers so that, ideally, only they could see it. I had no idea that there was the ability to put a password on a post.

I’m curious about how the password-protected post appears on the website. Is the URL visible so that people can navigate to it they are presented with a password field? If so, it would be cool to be able to override the password dialog to include an opt-in form as well to gather new subscribers.

    1. Hey Ben,

WordPress protects the blog post with a password. To hide the post, you have to add a PHP code which would hide your post from the website and would be visible to the people with the password.

You could provide the URL and your users would be able to access the content. Publishing a newsletter on the website a great idea. You should add a newsletter box on the website permanently so that your users can subscribe anytime they want and choose any email sending service.

      Thanks for stopping by.

      Enjoy the day.

  2. Thanks for the nice tip. I tried private posts in WordPress but they are not visible unless you are logged in. Password protecting them is best idea if you want to share them with specific people.

    Thanks

    1. Hey Gary,

It’s a kind of storage where you can embed the post which isn’t meant to show anyone else. WordPress has the power to save your data until you disclose the password of that post.

      Thanks for being me.

      Have a great day.
