Step 2:- When you reach to the WordPress editor you may have seen many times that above the “publish” button there is an option to set the visibility of the blog post. By default, it is set to the “public” because all the blog posts get published for your readers.

But if you want to set the password then you have to click on the “edit” option in front of “visibility”. You would see three radio buttons. To show to the public, password protected, and private.

Step 3:- Click on the “password protected” radio button and a field would appear under it to fill the password. To set the password, just fill it and click on the “OK” button.
